Why Study Italian?

There are estimated to be around 65-80 million Italian speakers globablly. Knowledge of Italian is a useful skill for people interested in Italian business, hospitality, travel, art history, history, painting, music, sculpture, literature, food, film, fashion, and more. Learning a second language is a crucial skill to develop intercultural abilities that will help you navigate the globalized world. The UNT Italian program provides students a solid command of the language as well as an appreciation for the variety of cultures that make up the Italian peninsula.

We offer Italian courses at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced level.

Transfer Credit and Placement Test
